The next session of the East Sussex Psychedelic Film Club on Friday 6 February celebrates two very singular individuals - Sun Ra and Bruce Lacey

Join us for a screening of John Coney’s 1974 Afrofuturist science fiction film Space is the Place, starring Sun Ra from the planet Saturn, with of course a cosmic soundtrack by Sun Ra and his Arkestra.

This film will be paired with The Bruce Lacey Experience, a 2012 documentary by Jeremy Deller and Nick Abrahams exploring the life and work of this most eccentric of performance artists and propmakers. We are very honoured that the Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller will be joining us in the chapel, to talk about Bruce Lacey and much more.

This will be, surely, an unmissable a night of eccentrics, wonders and merry company, and it will probably sell out pretty damn quick - so be wise and grab your ticket now!
