ESP-FC4: Berberian Sound Studio with Peter Strickland

On Wednesday May 1st we welcome director Peter Strickland to the East Sussex Psychedelic Film Club at the Westgate Chapel. For those of you with tickets, the running order is:

7pm - Doors

7:30pm - Peter Strickland in conversation with John Higgs

8:10pm - Interval

8:30pm - Berberian Sound Studio - and more!

10:15pm - Interval

10:30pm - May Day Shorts: Monolith by Danny Hammond, The Invocation of Caburn’s Cast by Josh Hight, Recorda Me by Grimshaw Mink, The Weaker Man by Mark Keeble and David Bramwell.

10:55pm - Disperse.

This is basically the sensible running order reversed but at least the programme isn’t in Japanese this time. It is hoped that there will be a really large cheese on the merch table.

After this presentation, the ESP-FC will disappear for the summer to work on our surfing. In the autumn, when the nights are dark enough again to screen films at the Westgate Chapel, we will return. Those on this mailing list will be notified first.
